Hello world!

Imagine for a moment if Edison had been content to dine by torchlight, or if Bell had been resolved to forever correspond by post. What if the Wright brothers had found travel by train to be good enough, or if Salk had counted polio among one of life’s certainties?

Education played a significant role in each of these men’s lives–it expanded their toolboxes. It enabled them to produce more elegant solutions to their problems, and all of humanity has reaped the benefits.

I seek to:

  • empower students with knowledge–the ability to form an opinion by themselves and to skillfully express that opinion verbally and through writing.
  • foster students’ self esteem through assisting their obtainment of academic achievement.
  • encourage a love and a genuine excitement for learning that will last long after students finish my class.
